Meet Shane

Shane is the one who counts — times, distances, head of stock, the exact minute he drove through town. His mind builds order out of chaos, which is exactly the skill that made him a tech founder in Austin, and exactly the thing he can't stop doing now that the company's gone and he's home running his father's elite winter sale instead of a life. He's steady, precise, and quietly reeling from a failure he hasn't made peace with. The old reflex was to hold his cards close and arrange outcomes from behind the curtain; the harder, newer one is to lay everything on the table and let people see the whole board. The look: Tall and lean, with dark hair kept short and the clean, put-together look of a man who spent more recent years behind a desk than in a saddle. Notably, no cowboy hat: he's the Kingsley who still looks a little like he wandered in from somewhere else.
